Perspectives Rodney D. Joslin Campus (formerly South Loop) was founded in 1997 and is the original campus of the Perspectives Charter School network. The South Loop campus is home to 352 students serving grades sixth through 12th. Since September 2004, the South Loop campus has called the award winning Perkins + Will designed building at 1930 South Archer Avenue home after changing locations three times prior. The building was renamed for Perspectives' late founding Board Chairman, Rodney D. Joslin, in the spring of 2008.
For the eigth year in a row Perspectives graduated over 90 percent of seniors, with over 90 percent of graduates accepted to college. On our 2008 ISAT, middle school students outperformed the district with 73.2 percent of students meeting or exceeding standards. To continue our upward trend in achievement Perspectives will offer 100 minutes of math at all grade levels, a Freshman Academy to provide students with study and organizational skills, and a staffed research library that will prepare our students for college and beyond.
